Light Liquid Paraffin (LLP), also known as Paraffinum Liquidum is a highly refined mineral oil. It is transparent, colourless, nearly odourless, and oily in nature. It also works as an emollient to provide smooth skin by softening it, and prevents water loss from the outer layer of skin to relieve dryness. Light Liquid Paraffin offers soft and hydrated skin with its presence in multiple cosmetic products. It is used in hairstyling products due to its waxy texture, and proves to be useful for thickening cosmetics like lip stick.
